Writing is a simple word with diverse avenues. Although hard news is not my passion, it's a dayjob with a consistant paycheck. As assistant editor for the Dawson Creek Daily News and The Mirror newspapers I get the job done.

But if we're talking passion, travel writing, my weekly column Ahahs & Oorahs, features and human interest stories are where I'm drawn.

Truthfully, I was never more passionate than when I was writing my first book, Letters From Home.
